Us here at Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair are so excited to welcome ABBA The Concert to the stage this autumn for what is surely to be a night to remember for all of us that will be in the crowd. Coming to town once again for their yearly show here in Westbury New York for a night of all of your favorite Abba hits, and of course a few Dancing Queens along the way. And with forty one dates scheduled for the early summer to late autumn months, we know that the ABBA tribute band is going to give us there all on October 24th, which is also their last tour date of the year!

It comes as no surprise - but if you know music, then you must know ABBA. The Swedish group began back in 1972, and for fifty years they ran the disco and Europop game with their multi generational hits and accolades - so much so that they even have cover bands and interpretations of their music sung every night across the world like this concert series coming to town. They were Sweden’s first Eurovision winner back in 1974, and they have won dozens of awards from various Academies across the world. They have worked and been covered by the likes of Led Zeppelin and Madonna, and have played for sold out crowds of thousands all across the world. During their peak, they had multiple songs charting on Billboard all at once, and still get blips of popularity when their songs re-appear in TV shows and movies. They are the ultimate peak European crew, so it makes sense that there are others who are covering their greatest hits even fifty years on from their formation. Top songs include Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Waterloo, and Mamma Mia - to name a few. The band is also in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and they have sold over thirty million records worldwide.
