Zebra at Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair

Louisiana, in general, and New Orleans, in specific, have always been known as a hotbed for jazz and blues. Some of the most influential performers in those genres came out of the bayou. In the 80s, though, rock and roll took over the world. Even New Orleans had rock fever. Zebra came up in that world and were able to reach incredible heights! Their debut album, Zebra, peaked at number 29 in 1983, with "Who's Behind the Door" becoming their flagship single. Since then, the trio has been rocking out, producing new music with that New Orleans style of hard rock that you can't find from many performers. That was true in the 80s, and it's still relevant today!

This unique sound is what has allowed Zebra to develop a cult following. It's the band's 50th anniversary tour, so if you're a fan from the early 80s, you need to head out to the Westbury Music Fair.
